Williams enjoys being newsworthy...

... After it goes back on the FOTA Ban on KERS next year. Despite agreeing that because costs were too restrictive, there would be an f1 ban on KERS, Williams are continuing to develop the system for next year.

Their reasoning is apparently that KERS 'enhances the green credentials' of F1 which has already come under fire because it is effectively just an entertaining way of polluting the environment.

Sauce, plz.

Hello, empty grandstands...

... Because we have a mostly* finalised race calendar.
It looks a little like this:
Mar 14 - Bahrain (Sakhir)
Mar 28 - Australia (Melbourne)
Apr 4 - Malaysia (Sepang)
Apr 18 - China (Shanghai)
May 9 - Spain (Barcelona)
May 23 - Monaco (Monte Carlo)
May 30 - Turkey (Istanbul)
Jun 13 - Canada (Montreal, provisional*)
Jun 27 - Europe (Valencia)
Jul 11 - Great Britain (Donington Park)
Jul 25 - Germany (Hockenheim)
Aug 1 - Hungary (Budapest)
Aug 29 - Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps)
Sep 12 - Italy (Monza)
Sep 26 - Singapore
Oct 3 - Japan (Suzuka)
Oct 17 - South Korea (Yongam)
Oct 31 - Abu Dhabi (Yas Marina)
Nov 14 - Brazil (Interlagos)
I like that everyone's suddenly making a big thing about Korea. What kind of a following does f1 have in Korea ? I for one, have no idea. Didn't the Korean government pretty much, only just acknowledge it as something slightly nobler than fancy global warming?

Then of course there's Donington not being a provisional. I guess that means Silverstone is gone for good now? I'll miss it - MotoGP guys, you had better look after it! Baww baww, etc.

It'll be cool to see Hockenheim again, all I really remember it for is 2005 (?) with Villeneuve driving into everyone ever. Rubens also got his maiden win here in 2000, although he might not even have a seat next year, so let's just touch wood and hope all goes well.

*Damn Canadians ruining everything.
